Courses

Release Your Creativity!

I have run innovative courses for over 30 years and am currently offering courses either my own studio or in venues nearby, nestling in the beautiful hills and valleys of the Cotswolds.

All my courses are practical, accessible, easy and supportive. Anyone can have a go – no previous experience is required – the only requirement is the willingness to have a go!

I am only interested in building up people’s confidence and creativity – so the course/workshop process is always positive, encouraging and accepting of whatever stage participants are at.

Creativity’ (Four consecutive days) is all about accessing your own creativity – whatever form it takes. It runs over four days, fully residentially, so you can settle in and fully experience developing your own creativity in a variety of ways. Suitable for absolute beginners as well as those who want to develop their creativity further.

14th – 17th May 2018 – residential at Hawkwood College, Stroud.

Non-residential places also available.

‘Creativity’ (Three one-day workshops) is all about accessing and becoming more familiar with your own way of being creative. Suitable for absolute beginners and for those who want to develop their creativity further. Workshops are run in my studio on three consecutive Mondays for those for whom a residential format isn’t suitable or doesn’t appeal.

One day collage workshop. A hands-on workshop for adults. Paper collage has a distinguished pedigree – giving instant and striking results. Especially useful for ‘loosening up’ your approach. Most memorably used by Matisse, amongst many others.  No previous experience required.

Autumn 2018

Beginners stained glass. I occasionally take a maximum of three people through the basics of stained glass, in my own studio, through several half-day sessions. Each student makes from scratch and assembles (in lead) a small panel of traditional stained glass to their own design. You may, like me, get hooked on making stained glass! Past students have said that understanding the basic techniques has also heightened their appreciation when viewing stained glass.

Dates will be organised around the people who express an interest. To enquire Contact me here.
